get involved

The Garden has many active programmes to support the community. We hope that there's something for everyone but we're always looking for new ideas and would love to hear from you if you have a new idea that we can help with.

Autumn events programme

We are currently developing our programme of events for the autumn and winter in a way that is Covid-secure: all places will be limited, so if you would like to book your place, please follow the links below.

  • 14th October   Wildlife Photography Morning

Our wildlife photography mornings give you access to the gardens before our visitors arrive. This means that you have a quiet and peaceful environment in which to take photographs.

As well as our extensive plant collection, the garden is home to a wide range of wildlife. This includes red squirrels, great spotted woodpeckers, bullfinches, herons, kingfishers, and depending on the season, a variety of insects too. Of course, we cannot guarantee that you will see these species on your visit, but there is bound to be something to photograph during your time here. You can book your tickets here.
